Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Accounting Executive to join our team at ABOTTS INC. The HR Accounting Executive will play a critical role in managing payroll, employee benefits, and accounting functions related to HR activities. This position requires a blend of accounting expertise and HR knowledge to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial and employee-related transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Oversee and process bi-weekly or monthly payroll, including calculations for overtime, deductions, and taxes. Ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Handle enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll and benefits. Prepare and file required reports and documentation.
- Reconciliation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of payroll and benefit transactions. Reconcile discrepancies and ensure alignment with financial statements.
- Employee Queries: Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other HR-related accounting matters.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team to support employee onboarding, offboarding, and other HR functions. Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to HR accounting activities.
- System Management: Utilize and maintain HR and payroll systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, or a similar HR accounting role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software and HRIS systems.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
